Free 4-day Overnight Mt Rainier Field School

If you are a current 8th grader (or high schooler), you can apply for this fun summer opportunity:  (sorry 7th graders)

Discover Washington: Youth Heritage Project (YHP) is an annual 4-day (overnight) interactive field school that engages high school students and teachers by connecting them to historic, cultural, and natural resources. YHP is designed to introduce historic preservation to a younger generation - future leaders that will work to save the places that matter. Through grant funding, we are pleased to be able to offer YHP free of cost to all accepted applicants.

This year, our fifth annual Discover Washington: Youth Heritage Project will be held at Mount Rainier National Park, July 13-16, 2016



Application deadline is May 20, 2016
